The Old Fart!

Well it is offical, my husband is old. He turned 38 last Sunday. Although his birthday seemed to occupy the whole weekend. We had friends over for dinner on Saturday night and then we had birthday celebrations Ciempka style on Sunday morning. That means blowing up heaps of balloons and jumping all over the birthday person, who is trying to sleep. We also took Paul out for a birthday dinner, which he was over an hour late for - he claims the bus took a different route - hmmmm.

We are off to Nepal today - pray for us!

More Konglish

It seems that no matter where I go there are so many examples of Konglish. Sometimes it is the spelling, but mostly it is the direct translation - It always cracks me up. Warning, some of these are rude.

Norebang Baby!

Ok I admit it. I have found a new addiction, other than Facebook. It is Norebang or Karoke. This should be no surpirse for you. Norebang is where you go to a club and book a room and then you and your group can sing Karoke style. There are two great bonuses with Norebang. First one - it is a private room, so no one can hear you. Second one - the beers are free. A norebang room costs around $20 and hour but split between 5 or more, it is not an expensive night out. Weekend in the Park

We had a wonderful weekend. It is finally cooler here and it is so nice to be out and about enjoying life. We discovered this beautiful park just near our house and we took the girls and their scooters there on Saturday found a fountain, that no matter how hard we tried we could not keep Emily out of it. It was nice to feel like life is settling down just a bit.
